Generative AI is artificial intelligence that can create new content: text, images, music, code... It learned from millions of existing examples, and can now produce things that didn't exist before. It's the technology behind ChatGPT, Midjourney, and code assistants.
02 · How it works
Before the AI can create anything, it first needs to learn. It's fed enormous amounts of data: texts, images, conversations. It analyzes all of this and spots patterns and regularities. It's like a student studying: the more they read, the better they understand how things work. The AI doesn't memorize word for word, but it learns the rules and structures of language.
03 · Tools
ChatGPT is an AI assistant created by OpenAI that you can chat with in natural language. It can answer questions, write texts, summarize documents, translate, write code, and much more. There's a free version that covers most use cases, and paid versions (starting at $20/month) that offer advanced features like image generation and complex reasoning.
