An LLM is a very powerful computer program specialized in language. It was trained by reading an enormous amount of text (books, websites, articles...) and learned to predict the next word in a sentence. Thanks to this, it can write text, answer questions, translate, summarize... It's the engine behind ChatGPT and Claude.
